Guest Invitation Day - June
13, 2007
Having won her regional qualifier at
Moor Park Gaye Sjoberg went on to win the British Golf Club
Secretary National Championship at St.Andrews on May 14th 2007.
With over 300 entries and 40 in the final Gaye also won the
fourball better ball practise round . Gill Sautter and Gaye
Sjoberg have progressed to the fourth round of Essex Gounty
Ladies Golf Union Munroe Foursomes knockout. Play off scratch
at a neutral course Gill and Gaye defeated Orsett by 4/3 at
Ilford Golf Club this Monday (21st May 2007).
NOT TOO LATE FOR CAPATINS DAY! There
are still a few spaces for captains day on June 23rd. Open for
Men Ladies Juniors anda limited number of guests,Captains day
is held over 27 holes with lunch and Dinner inclued. Members
may opt to play only 18 if they wish and can also book in extra
guests to the evening meal. However places must be booked by
putting names on the list on the main club noticeboard.

parkland course with extensive views over Essex countryside.
The fairways offer variety and challenge. Over 14,000 trees
have been planted around attractive water hazards which attract
a variety of bird life. The course calls for use of every
club in your bag, and all within walking distance of Epping
Town.

The Epping Golf Course is situated in Flux's Lane, Epping at the bottom of Station
Road/Bower Hill, 800 metres past Epping Underground Station (Central Line).
